Going Back

Prior to the workout I swung by Karsh's for rye bread. Of course, I had to bring it inside rather than leave it in the truck. Into the locker it went. After a kilo of calories got oxidized and whatever else happens in ATP land, took to the steam and modified thermal Tai-Chi splash.

Internal temp must exceed 101 degrees and it takes at least a half an hour to cool down. I sit before a fan after a cold shower (there's no Finnish Heart Attack dip) and then respite myself in an easy chair until my pulse slows from 100 to 80 or so.

Placed my gym bag and the store's on the floor next to the chair, the bread stowed aft. 15 minutes, at least, I cryoed meself while a young man sat on the sofa on the right angle. He didn't say hello nor make any friendly gesture so I closed up and relaxed... except to consider any commiseration... you never know... leave the respites be.

Up in a shot when ready to abet the rush-hour traffic (all steamed up, hear me shout "Outta my way!") and raring to go home for a open-faced Cheddar and tomato severals avec dash, grabbed the bag, not both.

Home, the first thing was to turn down the thermostat, then get the stuff out of the truck. Which I did. Then I got into watering and other heat-stroking interfacing with the fauna. Took another shower (one does so x3 normally solstice to equinox) and went looking for them vittles. Where's the bread! Nowhere to be found.

Backtracked and all that... had to had left it in the gym foyer. A telephone call confirmed that. Told them I'd be back to get it in the morning. But I had my heart set on the sandwiches so I decided to go back directly. Consequently, out on the town again this evening.

Black tea from China and a tambora going strong. Just thought to pull up Morrison. Can't quite discuss how the Chinese feel about the Blacks. Oh yeah, that's be a good one. (Japanese worse.) So better stay with the - here we go... hold on there; the cover sounds better as well.

I've got the bread and have worked up a bodacious appetite, let me tell you. All I've had all day is vitamins and a little protein (creme) in me coffee. And there's the competition across the road. Hold on agin' - a useta be and I think I'll check out the whey. I figure it's doubled since I last used it. Although milk by-products might not be subsidized, the dairy case seems to have done so. Mostly truck, eh?

This took longer than I expected and time, being of the essence, has tightened up till the midnight close for to do the Lincoln Center epic. The condensation is underway.

"We ask that you please bear with us."
