Ain't the Bodleian

Took a load off at the library on the fifth floor. Nicely done.

There's a sitting area of a coffee and end table assortment interspersed with upholstered chairs not too cushy, unlike sofas and loungers of yore so inviting to our homeless brethren. I settled in for a few moments in order to collect myself and check my schedule. Had a look at the books I was checking out as well.

Several light treatments were emplaced. Upright fixtures. Poles extended directly (don't recall any base) from the floor, the illuminated zone encased of a conical white plastic piece, tapered at both ends.

Of the three immediately in play, two are not functioning.

You can't tell me they've no budget for light bulbs. Unless they're mandated to get the most expensive on the market - for ulterior reasons. None of our business?
