Greater Love

I had this Matisse up as my desktop background the last week.
Somewhat risqué perhaps, yet there was no commiseration at all.

There was a conversation, years ago, about "no greater love" matter:
"Don't die for a cause - live for Christ." mentioned to an "activist."

Not a friendly fellow, and somewhat pompous; obstructive, he was.
Consumed by his causes, he never saw what God was presenting him.
