Blimey if there wasn't a problem!
Stopped in to see the Yanks/Red Sox at sports bar. Took five minutes for the bartender, who evidently was covering the dining area, to come from behind bar and serve me. When he finally did arrive, he had a remote, condescending manner skewed with an attitude that called me "man;" I paraphrase: "What do you want, man?"
I took exception.
"Man?"
He stood down.

"Sir."
There were only a few customers there. I knew no one.

I felt uncomfortable. I left.
"Forget it."
"OK."
"You need to work on your service, son."

Thing of it is, I know the owner - was merely another disappointment.
Not much into the game, but interested through aspects of tradition, I went to a Denny's and followed on the MLB Gameday while I did other computing. I miss my Dad. We would have watched it together. So it goes. Next up, the DBacks open - I have to work. So it goes.
