Just did a virtual tour following course of the Agua Fria thinking about jumping in around Cortes Junction; find that Arcosanti story and get the shots.
Going the other way to Prescott, through Peeple's Valley, you could check out Castle Hot Springs. I wonder if this inviting presentation is that or at least tepid. Never been there. An interesting story there. Used to be folks would situate themselves in one place (like the Wigwam, now going under) during their winter vacation. Nowadays it's Scottsdale and a lot more range experiencing events and sights.
Whatever... I really need to get away and not feel like needing a shower every time I ambulate.
Montezuma's Well good too. Been there. No jump. Great acoustics.
