Waylayed

Getting used to using the Vivitar 5385 on full auto. Pixelation choice seems to be key. There are functional adjustments one can make (I did the roses at ISO 200.) but it's hit or miss. And I do miss the filtering I did with my Fujica SLR. That's best evidenced by the voluptuosa - there was no way to edit the wash out of that. (Probably should have gone 200 there as well.) It was so hot I didn't feel like taking a series at different settings. They were all one shot deals.

One of the things I haven't done is log notes of the shots, but that data is included in the properties information, the devil in the details given the time. Again, who's got it? A trifle.

It's like driving a car. Using the computer and the camera are utile and transporting - who works on their own vehicle beyond the fluids? You just point it. Get the knack of the basics and it goes. Minimalist rules of the road are sufficient; sufficient unto the day the complications thereof.

Odd day. Wanted to stay home, find the specs, get the kitchen excavated and get back to the tomes engaging when interrupted by the aggie adventure. Usual scenario occurred... left the camera batteries charging at allied coffeehouse yesterday. Off in rush to see the final innings of the Dbacks. They won. Good defense.

Three in a row this evening and I ain't sayin' nothing.

Maybe go Thursday: then here we go.
