Went off this morning westbound from home looking for coffee places with WiFi closer to home than Central Phoenix. A couple advertised. The first try defunct, proceeded "downtown" where I chilled hereto.
Tucked away in an alley, a quiet spot. City Hall a block away. The view. (One must step outside for a smoke.) The simple pleasures.
Lo and behold... I'd no idea a scan over would so delight.
Had a nice talk with the proprietor of the coffee place about shopping on much cooler days. Once I happened upon a dealer going out of business. She was selling off her inventory in a small house a few blocks away. I purchased a beautiful wine decanter and a set of stemmed glasses. The thinnest glass I'd ever felt, and etched. Real fine. She had some parfum and depression glass too. Coty and Chantilly in Deco bottles. My sister likes blue glass and I got her something.
Due to the connection problem (will visit again with someone who can help overcome the network setting situation without messing with the defaults) and after trouble-shooting to no avail, I was glad to see the library across the street. WiFi there, but, don't you know, it was fast enough to upload these photos but inadequate to edit them. Had to wait on that. Finally done after another sweaty day. I swear, I'm just cooling off hours after sundown. What's happening?
